Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Rivermark Harbor Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Houston, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for carrier rates. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
