Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Northwind Rowan Inspection Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for certifications. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
