Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Stonegate Maple Manufacturing Partners manufactures parts and assemblies at its Columbus plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for scrap and rework. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
