Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Lumen Orchard Telecom Group is a telecommunications provider in Charleston focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for customer tickets. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
