Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Northwind West Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Fort Worth. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We reward reliability. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for claims. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
