Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Silverline Sable Manufacturing Associates is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 723 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for tooling. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
