Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Foxglove Loom Construction Group is a Oakland contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for permits. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
