Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Westbrook Maple Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Virginia Beach, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for change orders. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
