Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Highbridge Linden Inspection Services is an inspection company in Columbus with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for scheduling. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
