Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Amberfield Basin Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around New Orleans, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 200 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for equipment calibration. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
