Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Ivory Environmental Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 596 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for weigh tickets. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
