Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Amberfield Ember Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around Des Moines with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 652 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for pricing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with pricing. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
