Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Westbrook Ember Manufacturing makes precision components in Phoenix. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for tooling. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
