Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Redstone Kestrel Press is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for press runs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 141 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for press runs. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
