Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Amberfield North Auto Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 354 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
