Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Fernwood Bridge Farms is an agricultural business based around Salt Lake City, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
