Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Rivermark Bright Press produces print and digital publications in Madison. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for proofing. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
