Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Summit North Auto Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
