Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Cedar Sparrow Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Dallas, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 60 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
