Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Forge Farms and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for grower contracts. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
