Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Redstone Yarrow Foods is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
