Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Cedar Wilder Manufacturing Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
