Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Northwind Oak Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Rochester, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for allergen controls. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
