Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Lakeside Freight Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 160 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for proof of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
