Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Rivermark Amber Press produces print and digital publications in Chicago, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for bindery work. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
