Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Summit Vista Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Anchorage region. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 94 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for parts orders. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
