Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Vale Markets and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for shrink and waste. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
