Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Silverline Ashton Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Savannah, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 191 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for certifications. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
