Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Meridian Inspection Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 96 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for certifications. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
