Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Bright Glen Foods produces packaged foods at its Raleigh plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 657 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for allergen controls. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
