Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Harborlight Sparrow Freight is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for dock schedules. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
