Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Harborlight Fox Construction is a New Orleans contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for materials orders. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
