Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Redstone Pike Auto Group Partners operates automotive service and parts businesses around Oakland, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
