Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Ironwood Meadow Auto Group is a Pittsburgh company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 162 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for service appointments. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
