Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Rivermark Rowan Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around Portland. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for recycling loads. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
