Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Fernwood River Markets Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for shrink and waste. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
