Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Fernwood Granite Markets is a Raleigh retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for shrink and waste. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
