Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Fernwood Ember Press Group produces print and digital publications in Columbus, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for proofing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
