Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Fernwood Willow Construction is a Reno contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for permits. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
