Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Ironwood Wilder Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Portland plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 136 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for production lines. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
