Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Meadow Auto Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for parts orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
