Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Raleigh, NC)

We are growing our team at Nova Quarry Farms and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for grower contracts. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
