Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Raleigh, NC)

Lumen Lakeside Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Raleigh focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. We invest in training. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
