Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Raleigh, NC)

We are growing our team at Redstone Iron Construction and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for subcontractor invoices. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
