Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Raleigh, NC)

Westbrook Bright Manufacturing is a Raleigh manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for production lines. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
