Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Raleigh, NC)

Amberfield Sparrow Farms is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for grower contracts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for grower contracts. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
