Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Linden Farms and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for field records. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
