Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Providence, RI)

Rivermark Wren Telecom Partners is a telecommunications provider in Providence focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
