Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Providence, RI)

Ironwood Quill Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Providence focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 777 people based in Providence. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for billing accounts. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
