Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Northwind Ashton Telecom and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for customer tickets. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer tickets. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
